Buderus Boiler accession - twelve zones

Buderus oil-fired boiler installation - installed entirely by Richard W. Guest. System includes Buderus outdoor reset, eleven individual heating zones (a zone for each room), one DHW zone, DHW circulation loop with timer in Buderus computer head for instant on-demand hot water throughout the dwelling. Over 1/4 mile 3/4" type M copper installed throughout the dwelling for feeds and returns. All zones and piping isolated with ball valves to facilitate isolation to work on zones as needed without shutting down the whole system. Hydronic baseboard heat, radiant floor heat and a Modine unit in the attached garage. The boiler needed to be installed near the chimney. Due to space limitations in the vicinity of the boiler, the main header loop extends into the adjoining basement (as you can see, behind the boiler through the entrance to that basement). In that adjoining basement, there is ample room for all the circulators and associated apparatus for ease of working on same. There is a Taco circulator acting as a heat pump for constantly circulating the water through the main 1 1/4" insulated header. That main header is the same temperature as the boiler and is essentially an 'extension' of the boiler.

Underfloor Heating - Radiant Heating Systems Are Best Using Natural Gas Or Propane Gas

!±8± Underfloor Heating - Radiant Heating Systems Are Best Using Natural Gas Or Propane Gas

A radiant heating system is one of the best ways to heat your home or business. Getting the comfort you deserve for the least amount of money is the goal. Using Natural Gas or Propane with a high efficiency boiler is the way to get to this goal.

Radiant heat is without a doubt the nicest, most comfortable heat you can install. The warm floors are so nice to feel under your feet. The heat that just seems to come from nowhere is just hard to imagine. Feeling warm in a room when the thermometer says that you should be cool makes your head spin. Getting all these things for an affordable cost is another thing.

The best way to get affordable radiant heat is with warm water. A hydronic heating system that uses radiant technology is the best heating system that you can have. With proper installation technologies you can be heating your home or business with water that rarely needs to be more than warm in temperature. Because of this a condensing boiler is the heat plant that will produce the warm water you need to heat with at ultra high efficiencies. I have personally installed many of these boilers and have had then running in the very high 90% efficiency range. This will get you the most BTU's possible out of your natural gas or propane.

Not only is the boiler an important part of the equation. To get the heat you need from water that is just warm you need to have very efficient heat transfer to your room. To do this right you need to install very good heat transfer plates that will get the most heat out of the water possible. The installation of a system like this will cost more when you install it but you will reap the benefits of this system for many years and get those costs back many times over.

If you are considering radiant underfloor heating then you need to look at the high efficiency boilers that are on the market today and find a competent installer that not only knows how to install radiant floor heating with heat transfer plates but also knows hoe to effectively hook a high efficiency condensing boiler to that system properly. Doing you homework before you buy your new heating system will make you very happy for many years to come.
